The story behind KORE
Growing up, Kyla, the founder of KORE Beach Pilates, spent her childhood summers at York Beach, where days by the ocean sparked her lifelong love for beachside living, movement, and community.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina and a lifelong athlete who played field hockey, basketball, and softball, Kyla turned her love for movement and wellness into a studio focused on helping people feel strong, confident, and connected.
Certified in both Inferno Hot (mat) Pilates and Lagree Fitness, she brings a high-energy approach to workouts that challenge clients while keeping classes approachable and supportive.
Inspired by beachside living and the idea that movement should leave you feeling better, she created KORE Beach Pilates to be more than just a work out — it’s a community. Her classes combine intensity with encouragement, helping clients build strength and confidence both physically and mentally.
With a fresh outlook and a passion for helping people feel their best, she’s dedicated to creating experiences where everyone — whether it’s your first class or your hundredth — feels supported, motivated, and empowered.
